Bai Mudan (Pai Mu-Tan)

Bai Mudan (Chinese: 白牡丹; pinyin: bái mǔdān;  pai mu-tan; literally: 'white peony') is a type of white tea made from plucks each with one leaf shoot and two immediate young leaves of the camellia sinensis plant.

A Fujan Province premium white tea, made from tightly curled buds picked  with two or three tender young leaves. When they are dried they have the appearance of little bunches of silver white blossoms set amongst lightly curled green and pale brown leaves.
